Why
is The Good Stuff™ not available everywhere?
The Good Stuff™ Premium Cigarette Tobaccos are manufactured by RSB Tobacco. We are a family-owned operation which is a non-participating member of the Master Settlement Agreement (MSA). The MSA was established in 1998 between 46 state governments and large tobacco corporations. It outlines advertising requirements and remedies to health related law suits against these participating companies. As a small company, it is not cost effective for us to become a signatory to the MSA.
As a non-participating member, we face extraordinary challenges when it comes to establishing nationwide wholesalers. In order to sell The Good Stuff™ tobaccos in a specific state, we must become certified with the appropriate state agencies before allowing our products to be sold in that respective state. We apologize for any inconvenience this may bring to you. We appreciate your patience as we are working to become certified for sales nationwide.
A six ounce bag of The Good Stuff™ Premium Cigarette Tobacco will make approximately two hundred cigarettes (or one carton). These results are based on making your own cigarettes with an injector machine. If you are rolling by hand, there is a good chance you will get more than one carton. A one pound bag of The Good Stuff™ Premium Cigarette Tobacco will make a little less than three cartons of king size cigarettes.
How
is The Good Stuff™ Natural different?
The Good Stuff™ Natural Cigarette Tobaccos are comprised of a unique blend of flue-cured bright leaf (also referred to as Virginia), oriental, and burley tobaccos. It is the same blend which is used in The Good Stuff™ Full Flavor Cigarette Tobaccos. The only difference between our Full Flavor and Natural blends are the use of additives. The Good Stuff™ Full Flavor has additives which are used for consistent flavoring and preservation. The Good Stuff™ Natural is additive-free, which means that you are smoking pure tobacco with no artificial flavorings.
What
can I do to rehumidify my tobacco?
During tobacco rag processing, raw tobacco is sent through redryers which pull out all of the moisture. Later in the manufacturing process, the desired amount of moisture is added back to the tobacco. What does this mean to you?
The Good Stuff™ Cigarette Tobaccos are packaged based on net weight. One cubic foot of water weighs 62.37 pounds. It is to your advantage to buy dryer tobacco because you are getting more for your money. If you receive a bag that is not to your preferred humidity level, there are several remedies which are readily available in Roll-Your-Own chat rooms and/or blogs (short for web logs).
We suggest that you use a mist/spray bottle filled with water, preferably distilled, and lightly spray the tobacco once inside the pouch. Seal the pouch back and let it sit for approximately one hour. You should notice the difference in the feel and taste of your next smoke. You may repeat this process to get the tobacco up to the humidity level of your preference. Be careful not to apply to much moisture as this may lead to a host of other problems. However, in the event that it becomes to moist, simply spread the loose tobacco across a paper towel and allow to air dry. Then, if needed, you may restart the rehumidification process
